Your wedding!Planning the Perfect Event Thank you for your interest in the Holiday Inn Lexington North. We have tried to anticipate some of your questions and have included this information to help you get started. The Holiday Inn Lexington North has a knowledgeable catering staff that would be delighted to assist you in planning "Your Special Day"! How Do I Reserve Banquet Space? For a personal consultation, it is best to call for an appointment. When a date is confirmed, the Holiday Inn Lexington North will forward you a contract to substantiate banquet space reservations. This contract will be reviewed with you to insure your understanding of all terms and conditions. It is important that the contract is signed and returned within specified deadlines to continue holding the banquet space. What About Deposits? A deposit of $1,000.00, which is non-refundable, is due within 30 days of booking your event along with the signed contract. This deposit will secure the banquet space for your event and will be applied directly to your account. One month (30 days) prior to your event, another deposit, which is 50% of your estimated charges, will be due. Final payment will be due 3 business days prior to your event. The final payment must be received in the form of cash, certified or cashiers check. Credit card payment must be approved through the application process. What if I Need to Cancel? Cancellation must be received in writing, to the Holiday Inn Lexington North, 90 days prior to your event. Your initial deposit of $1,000.00 will be forfeited. If cancellation occurs within 30 days prior, all deposits made for your event will be forfeited. What is a Guarantee? The Holiday Inn Lexington North will require a guaranteed count three business days prior to your event. This is the number of attendees the Holiday Inn will set-up and prepare food for. It is also the number of attendees you guarantee to pay for. If attendance is lower than the guaranteed number, you will still pay for the number you provided three days prior to your event. If the number of attendees is higher, you will pay for the number you guaranteed, plus the additional attendees served. Remaining balances will be settled the night of the event at the front desk. If the Holiday Inn overestimates, a refund will be issued the 30 days after your event. What About Menus and Other Details? The professional staff at the Holiday Inn Lexington North will work with you to create a menu that meets your specifications and budget. A menu and detail consultation may be scheduled at your convenience, but must be no later than 30 days prior to your event. Colored linens are available for a fee.
